Free download now available! Download Ninjakul 2 The Last Ninja
--------------------------- As you may know, our team is making a free-style ninja game using the subtitle "The Last Ninja". The game will be a side view action platform game where we can choose from A to D levels and then play a final level. Every zone has a final boss and one sacred scroll that will give some power ups to our ninja. We hope you enjoy the game and do not compare to "last ninjas" since it is all about a kind of joke (despite we tried to make a fun and good game). The game takes inspirations from other ninja games such as GG Shinobi 1 & 2 and Ninja Gaiden saga. Thanks for playing it and do not hesitate to let your opinion in comments. I like how the names sound, for example "Villanueva del Trabuco", "Mollerusa" or "Matalascañas". We'll see... |

From what we can see from the screenshots, it seems that there will be a lot of variety in the scenarios and a lot of possibilities of actions (plus the nice amount of colours, which really help getting a good atmosphere!), so this looks really interesting! A new Last Ninja! |

Well, that's kinda disappointing ( Don't get me wrong, maybe it's a good game, but it's Ninjakul 2 and has nothing to do with The Last Ninja.
This is nor remake nor MIA, so it's not fair to other participants who are trying hard to bring famous MIA to life or remade some classics.

Liking this one a lot. There is something fresh and innovative about the backgrounds, and the overall production has the sense of a thought-out original concept, a rare and appealing quality in Spectrum games.

The Last Ninja is a big one. Well, the rules clearly says this: " Authors can decide if they want to use the same names as in the original ones or want to change it, but they have to indicate the original inspiration. There are no restrictions regarding how a MIA or Remake game has to be developed." Ok, this is not The Last Ninja and we asume the score for this aspect will be low, so why is if unfair for the other participants? I think it is a benefit for them. Anyway, we just want to participate and to enrich the compo, we know we won't win. Let us the joke. Of course if the organitation/judges think we should not participate for any reason we will retire the game " ipso facto". I hope you enjoy the game as is. Thanks for sharing your opinion. Pat Team |

Thanks for sharing your concerns Actually, as the rules say, it is permitted to submit a game inspired by a MIA and do it the way the author himself wants to do it We wanted to be this year less strict with rules because other years people have complained, so we opened our minds a bit As Patmorita said, probably this may cause the game has a lower score in some aspects, but it is totally respecting the rules |
